Q: What are the three options you can choose for other members to contact you in the "contact preferences" section (of your member profile)? 

A: 1. Within the community based email system (w/email notifications to your regular email address)
2. Phone
3. Private Email

You can check all or just #1. The Councils community keeps your phone and email private unless you choose to list it. If you choose phone or email, you can list your contact information in the text box in the contact preferences form along with any other individual instructions/preferences. Most members find it easier to communicate directly via email.

If you choose to use the community based email system, your registered email address is private. Every member in the system is given a private in-box where they may store all private discussions.When someone chooses to send you a message via the button on your profile, you get an email notification from the community to your registered email address.
