Call for Nominations

CUNA CFO Council
January 31, 2005

The CUNA CFO Council executive committee is pleased to announce the Council's call for nominations for seats on the executive committee. During this election, four seats (one incumbent) will be elected to two‑year terms.

Candidates for the executive committee must meet the following criteria:

• CUNA CFO Council member in good standing;
• Credit union employee having CFO responsibilities in an affiliated credit union;
• Committed to serving a two‑year term;
• Committed to attending two planning meetings per year and spending 50 hours per year on council work.

Full Executive Committee position descriptions will be provided to all candidates submitting the required materials.

Candidates interested in serving are requested to email a letter of interest along with their resume and a 100‑word campaign statement to Nominating Committee Chair Frank Vassallo, CFO, Fort Belvoir Federal Credit Union.

The nominating committee, which includes Frank, Scott Waite, SVP/CFO, Patelco Credit Union and Christina Brown, SVP/CFO, Xerox Federal Credit Union will then evaluate and present recommended candidates to the membership for democratic election. The committee will take care to present a slate of candidates that exceeds the number of vacancies and is as geographically and professionally balanced as possible.

The election will be conducted electronically beginning March 18, 2005. New officers take their executive committee seats at the conclusion of the Eleventh Annual CUNA CFO Council Conference & Roundtable, May 15‑18, 2005 in Washington, D.C.
