Lisa Lambrecht is the vice president of accounting for Entrust Federal Credit Union in Richmond, Virginia. A native Virginian, Lisa worked her way up from teller at SunTrust Bank to assistant manager at a $2-million credit union (NSC FCU). She later became manager/CEO and grew the credit union to $3 million in assets in two years. After serving at vice president of finance for three years at Fort Monroe Credit Union, she accepted the position of vice president of accounting at $43-million Entrust Federal Credit Union. She lives with her husband Richard and their two dogs in Chesterfield, Virginia.

Biggest challenge

Completing all the changes to our card programs to align with the CUNA Best Practices.

Best advice

Don't be afraid to ask your peers when you don't know the answer. You will soon find out that there are others who have the same question.

Greatest benefit of Council membership

Definitely the Listserv. Provides answers at a click of the mouse. It’s a great daily resource for picking the brains of more seasoned CFOs.

Best part of my job

Continuously learning new things.

Hardest part of my job

Staying in my own department.

Success story

Winning the CFO Council Scholarship two years in a row. This allowed me to gain a great deal of discipline-related knowledge that was not readily available to me at such a small credit union. The knowledge gained from my attendance at the CFO Conference been a tremendous help at my current credit union.

Hobbies and interests

Reading, scrapbooking, photo editing.
