Register Now for Two Upcoming CPD Webinars Sponsored by the CFO Council

The CUNA CFO Council is proud to sponsor two CPD webinars in September: an “Economic Update” on September 26 and another entitled “Liquidity & Additional Sources of Funds” on September 27.

“Both offerings will contribute greatly to the continuing education of finance professionals across the council,” said CUNA CFO Council Education Committee Chair, Bob Warren, SVP/CFO of Virginia CU Inc. “And since many credit unions are doing strategic planning for 2008, these webinars will provide key information for decision makers.”

The “Economic Update” webinar is FREE for all CUNA CFO Council members. CUNA's senior economist, Steve Rick, will share the latest information on the current economy and economic trends during this 90-minute webinar. Attendees will discuss the economic outlook for next year and understand the implications for your credit union.

Council members looking to learn what type of alternate sources can be used to build their credit union's overall liquidity should attend the “Liquidity & Additional Sources of Funds” webinar. During the webinar, attendees will:

  • Determine the different sources of alternative funding that credit unions should consider
  • Discuss what examiners might be looking for
  • Understand how cash flow analysis can help the credit union with liquidity
  • Review a sample liquidity policy
  • Determine the right mix of primary liquidity and secondary liquidity.

Council members receive a $50 discount on this and all CPD webinars.
