Jay Scungio is a native New Englander, born in Portland, Maine and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts. After graduating with a BSBA and MBA from Western New England College, Jay worked with a public accounting firm before joining the credit union industry. Today he is vice president and CFO of Freedom Credit Union and lives in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, with his wife Brenda and three young daughters. He is also a member of the CUNA CFO Council Executive Committee.
