Preconference Workshop: Cost Accounting: Mechanics, Methodologies and More
Mark Hart, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Greenwich Software and Consulting Group, Inc., Greenwich, CT

This basic hands-on workshop is designed specifically for CFOs. Beginning with the chart of accounts, and ending with pro-forma unit costs, you will learn how to prepare your organization to implement and use cost accounting as a powerful management information tool.

We will also review and relate the elements of sound cost accounting as they apply to credit unions of all sizes. And we’ll discuss and define overhead (not just administrative costs), products, capital allocation, and balance sheet ownership issues, transfer pricing and profit centers.

YOU CAN’T MANAGE WHAT YOU CAN’T SEE! This workshop will help you discover how sound, credible, well-developed cost accounting can reveal much about your productivity, pricing, and profitability.
